UNDERSTANDING OF MARKETING
At the beginning of this course, I thought marketing was mostly about advertising and selling products. But as I gained more knowledge, I realized that marketing is more than that. It covers everything a company does to produce, communicate, and provide value to customers. Marketing also focuses on building strong relationships with customers in a way that helps both the business and its customers. One of the first things I learned in this course was the importance of understanding customer needs. A business can't be successful if it doesn't know what its customers want. My first blog was about companies benefitting from understanding consumer behavior. I wrote about the success of Nike, Amazon, and Starbucks. They all paid attention to consumer behavior and adapted to meet their customers needs.
